Fire Safety Training...

If you are an employer, business owner or are in control of a premises, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that came into force on the 1st October 2006 states that you 'must ensure that your employees are provided with adequate safety training'.

Why should you train your employees?

Apart from being a legal Requirement under the new regulatory Reform (Fire
Safety) Order that came into force on the 1st October 2006, it has been proven time and again that a well trained workforce not only reduces the risk of fire, but in the event of one, employees will respond quickly and effectively to minimise the damage.

How we can help....

Our Training Solutions

We provide you and your staff with the latest information regarding fire safety in the workplace. Our training packages comply with current fire legislation and the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. In addition to this, it meets the standards set by the amended 1999 Management of health & Safety regulation.

The two fire training courses we provide at your location are:

Fire Warden and Staff Fire Awareness Training

Basic Fire Awareness training must be carried out for all employed personnel and should be repeated where necessary (annually, or when and where site specifics dictate).

Fire Warden Training

Fire Wardens/Fire Marshalls must be appointed, where necessary, to assist
the responsible person in providing "safety assistance" in the event of an emergency. The training of "competent persons" is a requirement under the RRO.

Fire Awareness Training with Live Practical Fire Extinguishers

Section 13.3 (a) of the RRO states that the responsible person must, where
necessary, take measures for fire fighting in the premises. The live fire training addition to the Fire Awareness Training will exceed all the requirements of the RRO and will prove to be a valuable asset should a fire occur on your premises.
